Charlie Easton's Layout

My layout consists of two towns, Clintonville and Cooperstown, named for my model railroading sons, Clinton and Cooper. The layout is primarily transition era and I stick with railroads that affected my life when I grew up in southern Ohio and now that I live in the Cleveland area. So you will see NYC, NKP, N&W, CCO, B&O, C&O and Pennsy. There is a two track main that follows a folded dogbone making each line about 140 feet in length. There is a two track subway that runs point to point and a highline that makes a large oval around the room via a lift bridge located at the open end of the fold. Both the outer mainline and the highline can use the bridge since it is dual level inspired by the Willamette river Steel Bridge in Portland, OR. A city, two mountains, a deep ravine, a coal mine, as well as a roundhouse facility with back shop, coaling tower, ash pit, and sanding tower are some of the scenes I have completed.
